A New Android Web Browser by Samsung Could be in the Making

Samsung has always received both positive and negative feedback from users across the globe.

Although it has many fans and millions rely on this phone maker for meeting their smart phone needs there are still a lot of places where the company needs to improve on its products.

One of them is battery management which has been improved to an extent in the devices running on Android Lollipop and Android Marshmallow OS.

The other which is the most crucial is software optimization. People across the globe have often complained of the phones getting hanged and sometimes some settings are far too confusing to access.

Samsung itself has admitted this fact and has sworn to make improvements right away. It seems to have started  its venture by making improvements on its web browser which will by default be the part of the TouchWiz user interface.

Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface is often the main reason why some people prefer to use Samsung devices. The interface is exceptionally well developed especially with the lower versions of Android where all the important features are so well placed that a user can have everything easily available within a couple of touches and swipes.

As the Android version grew and functionality increased Samsung apparently lost this easy optimization on TouchWiz and has come up with problems of its own. This web browser change that Samsung intents to make will bring it to the fourth generation and might be successful to prevent users from switching over to Google Chrome.

This fourth generation Samsung default browser has been developed in a way so as to show more compatibility than other mobile browsers. We expected that Samsung would include its own ad blocker support but that has not come by; you will need to depend on other sources for using this technology.

What is commendable is the inclusion of private browsing mode that will stop the device from saving any browsing history, downloading cookies or creating page cache.

Push notifications will be available with this browser as will Service Worker API that will provide best outputs even under low connectivity.

For the higher versions of Samsung devices figure print scanner support is being included that will help in making online payments. Apparently this browser version would also have support for Samsung Gear VR.
