Apple has been a company which has been appreciated for most of their releases. The company has always had a reputation for being in midst of controversies, but has been something that has still been a favourite of billions of users across the planet.

The company has been known to keep the user interests as the foremost thing, and in such a decision the company decided to have the Error 53 a part of the iOS, which will help ensure the best privacy levels.

However, the error 53 was taken by many as a bitter pill, and the company’s tough love proved to be difficult for them.

The Error 53 basically bricks an iPhone device until the user goes to the Apple Store to have it paid and fixed for.

The users expressed major concern over this, and had been complaining on all social media.  The company then apologized and has now released the fix. The apology reads as follows:

“Some customers’ devices are showing ‘Connect to iTunes’ after attempting an iOS update or a restore from iTunes on a Mac or PC. This reports as an Error 53 in iTunes and appears when a device fails a security test.

This test was designed to check whether Touch ID works properly before the device leaves the factory.

Today, Apple released a software update that allows customers who have encountered this error message to successfully restore their device using iTunes on a Mac or PC.

We apologize for any inconvenience, this was designed to be a factory test and was not intended to affect customers.

Customers who paid for an out-of-warranty replacement of their device based on this issue should contact Apple Care about a reimbursement.”

The company has now released a new update for the iOS 9.2.1 for the affected users. This is not a normal update and will not be available over the air.

This update is only meant for the people who are affected by this problem as they will then be able to cure their phones off this.

Apple had been taken to the back foot by public demand, and this is indeed something the company has done for the best interest of the users.

Apple has been in the center of many controversies, and if this Error 53 was one of their problems they face another major one against the US Govt asking them to create backdoor!
