ASUS is one of the biggest names in the tech industry, but the company has been struggling to create a fan base for its smartphones. However, ASUS is not giving up that easy and it decided to team up its brand with the Android Go name.
Therefore, ASUS has just released the brand-new ZenFone Live that runs on Android Go. With that being said, today we are going to check out everything there is to know about the new smartphone.
The first thing we need to mention about ZenFone Live is that since it is powered by Android Go, it will fit in the affordable price range and it’s being sold at $109.99. Nonetheless, this doesn’t mean that ZenFone Live’s hardware specs should be overlooked since the smartphone can take care of all types of tasks without any issues.
ZenFone Live offers a 5.5-inches display that uses IPS LCD technology which puts out a pixel resolution of 720 x 1440. Moreover, the display features an aspect ratio of 18:9 and a pixel density of 293pp. While the display might not be huge, it still covers 73.8% of the smartphone’s screen which makes it great for watching immersive videos.
ASUS equipped the Android Go smartphone with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 425 CPU. This is a quad-core processor that clocks at 1.4GHz Cortex A-53. To make things even better, the processor is paired with an Adreno 308 graphics processing unit that helps the smartphone run mobile games without any issues.
The downside of having a smartphone that is powered by Android Go is the fact that this operating system limits the RAM capacity. Therefore, ZenFone Live CPU is bundled with 1GB or 2GB of RAM, depending on the acquired model.
