Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 by Activision got named as one of the best games in UK game charts. Activision Blizzard, creator of this amazing title, however, will not stop at just this.
The company has decided that it will proceed with four different DLCs for this game to enhance multiplayer modes of this game.
The first of the four DLC’s that we are going to get is termed as ‘Awakening’. Expected to arrive by the end of this year, the DLC was supposed to be working perfectly with Xbox 360 and PS3. However, these devices are no longer in the running.
Activision has decided in favor of the newer consoles, the Xbox One and the PS4 to bear these DLC’s. Another piece of information received in reports stated that the DLC would be delayed. The PS4 version is scheduled to be launched on February 2nd, while the PC and the Xbox One versions are going to follow soon after.
The Xbox 360 and the PS3 are not supportive of the single player mode of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. However, with the removal of the multiplayer DLC, there is just one mode that will work rather well, that is the zombie mode. It is not very clear as to why Activision took this decision.
The previous installment of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 has been thriving on the PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles. They have been able to log sales worth 12 million, which is more than what is expected of this game. Even after getting such a good response from the previous console users, taking them off the list for this version of the game is a little out of stride for the company. Perhaps it is going to consider a change in the later stages but no hint of that has been given as yet.
More revenue is expected in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, because the game would come with an option to purchase stuff from the store, also termed as ‘Black market’. The currency in the game would be known as Call of Duty points that you can either buy or can gain as you keep playing the game.
These micro-transactions will include some Supply Drops to assist you in playing the game. Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 users who log in to the game for the first time will be treated to 200 Call of Duty points for free as a one time arrangement.
