Could Microsoft Lumia 650 the ‘Last Lumia’ Phone?


It has been quite some time since the rumors about the “Last Lumia” have been going around the internet. But now there could be some factual signs about this particular rumor to be true.

A report by Windows Central has indeed confirmed that Lumia 650 will indeed be the last Lumia. According to a German website, Winfuture, the Lumia 650 will be ready to sell in O2, Germany.

Some of the earlier leaks have suggested that Microsoft Lumia 650 will launch in the market with a screen of 5-inches for full HD display. Possibly the last smartphone by Microsoft under the Lumia franchise, could sport 1 GB for RAM.

The lastLumia smart phone by Microsoft is rumored to come in the markets running on a strong Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 or a Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor.

In the storage department, theLumia 650 is highly rumored to feature 8 GB as inbuilt storage which will be able to be expanded up to 128 GBwith the help of the microSD memory card.

The smart phone is tipped to come with a rear camera of 8 MP accompanied by an LED flash light beside it and a front camera of 5 MP for the purposes of video calling and selfies etc. Microsoft Lumia 650 is set to be an out of the box Windows 10 smartphone.

The Lumia 650 is highly regarded to come out in the market with a battery of 2000 mAh and is tipped to come with some other features for connectivity such as, Wi-Fi calling, HD Voice, Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0, Bluetooth 4.1, dual-SIM configurations and NFC.

A few weeks ago, a smart phone distributor who is based in Czech Republic listed the Lumia 650 on his website and by the looks of it he revealed the price of the smart phone.

The Czech Republic based distributor has claimed in his listing that the Microsoft Lumia 650 will cost CZE 5,419/- which is approximately $ 235 when the smart phone is released in the market.

The Chinese website of Microsoft recently released a video, in this video there was a mention of a smart phone by the mane ‘Lumia phone X’ with some other Microsoft devices and basically the video was also to educate people about how the Continuum feature works.

The experts think the ‘Lumia phone X’ could quite possibly be the much awaited “Surface Phone”.
