The large team of developers behind Facebook never sleeps, and the latest update to the service confirms it.
Facebook is still the largest social network in the whole world, and this is not likely to change anytime soon. With the latest update to the service it becomes clear that the purpose of its activities is to cover more than just conversations between friends and holiday photos.
Live Video does exactly what you think. Like many other applications available in Apple’s and Google’s virtual stores, Facebook now allows you to do live streaming using your phone. Basically, you can post a video stream that you record in real time, following that, interested parties can comment, share or like that post. If these features are familiar to you, it is because you already have access to them with Periscope by Twitter. Currently, the new feature is only available for iPhone users in the United States, but it should not be more than a few weeks until everyone will be able to experience this feature.
In theory, the feature described above is not completely new, even for Facebook. Until recently, however, it could only be used by celebrities and ordinary users of the social network did not have access to it.
A new feature called Collage has also been introduced in the iOS version of Facebook. This allows you to create collages of photos and vides, taken with your phone and arrange them in an attractive format. To create one, simply try posting a picture on Facebook by using the Photo button, in the new window with images and videos from your phone, select multiple items. In the next step, you can edit and personalize the collage before you share with friends.
If you’re using Android, you have to wait until the first part of next year to experience these new functions.
