Grand Theft Auto San Andreas is much more than a classic, it’s that kind of a rare game in a lifetime offering hours of gameplay and a lot of fun. And from June 7th onwards, you can play GTA San Andreas on Xbox One thanks to the backward compatibility, Rockstar announced. Besides it, Midnight Club: Los Angeles and Table Tennis will also be available for Xbox One starting on the same date
In fact, it’s not possible to take GTA San Andreas game from the Xbox 360 version to the newer Xbox One but, in return, players will receive an enhanced Xbox 360 version of the game, with a higher resolution (4K, actually), greater viewing distance and, of course, more achievements.
It’s not a bad deal, after all. And as we’re talking here about a GTA-classic who wouldn’t want to play it on a 4K res?
But that’s not all! To more games from Rockstar will come to Xbox One via backward compatibility
As confirmed by the Rockstar representatives, two more games from its catalog will come to Xbox One, besides GTA San Andreas.
Namely, the urban racing game Midnight Club: Los Angeles and Table Tennis will also be available for Xbox One via backward compatibility.
Gamers will keep their in-game progress after the transition
Also noteworthy, the gamers who already have Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, Midnight Club: Los Angeles, and Table Tennis, either in physical or digital format, will be able to keep all the DLCs and the in-game progress they’ve made.
Xbox One boasts the finest video games from the Rockstar portfolio as, in addition to Red Dead Redemption and GTA IV which are already available on Xbox One, the before-mentioned three new titles are announced for June.
These 5 titles, taken together, make Microsoft Xbox One’s commitment to backward compatibility a great feature.
