iOS 11.4 vs iOS 11.3 – Best Features and Improvements Comparison

iOS 11.4 beta 1 shows up in the first important test for iPhone smartphones. It is being compared with iOS 11.3 in order to show you how performance is affected.

iOS 11.4 beta 1 released for developers

iOS 11.4 beta 1 has been launched yesterday evening by Apple for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch app developers, and today we will be showing you a comparison of it with iOS 11.3. We are talking about a comparison regarding the performances of iOS 11.4 beta 1 and iOS 11.3 on the iPhone 5S, iPhone 6, iPhone 6S, iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 and the results are pretty interesting.

In the release notes, Apple announced two main features, among many bug fixes and quality of life improvements: the introduction of iMessages within iCloud and AirPlay2. Both of these were seen in previous 11.3 beta versions, but they never got released in the stable iOS 11.3 build.

Now, it seems like Apple is trying to feature them again, and maybe they will also be added to the final release! We can only wait and see.

Overall, on-par performance

iOS 11.4 beta 1 boots up slower than iOS 11.3 on some iPhone smartphone models, therefore Apple must have made some modifications in the way some processes are being executed.

This, fortunately enough, does not affect the performance of iOS 11.4 beta 1 in executed apps on iPhones; from this point of views things are pretty much the same.

iOS 11.4 beta 1 – early steps

iOS 11.4 beta 1 is a step forward for Apple. The American company offers iPhone users the same experience as with iOS 11.3.

iOS 11.4 beta 1 is still only the first beta version of iOS 11.4, so it remains to be seen what Apple decides to do until the public version of the operating system gets released. Also, keep in mind that this is only a version for app developers.

Will you sit on iOS 11.3 for now, or are you going to update to iOS 11.4 beta 1? Tell us in the comments! As always, stay tuned for more Apple news and information!
