Lenovo Lemon 3 – Lenovo Locks Horns With Xiaomi

China has been a country which has been attracting a large number of mobile phone companies to come and start off their business.

The country is home to names such as Xiaomi, Oppo, OnePlus, Huawei, Lenovo, and a countless other names in the world of technology.

Out of these, many brands have started off an international march towards capturing the markets, and one of the hottest names in the country is that of Lenovo.

Fresh after an incredible 2015, Lenovo is looking towards taking 2016 to newer heights.

The company has relentlessly been working on several devices which are expected to be changing the trend of the industry as we know it.

The latest release from Lenovo is that of the Lenovo Lemon 3.

The biggest problem for Lenovo in the international markets is that most people do not know about Lenovo’s mobile phone ventures outside the Indo-Chinese markets.

However, Lenovo has now stepped up and has accelerated their pace.

The acquisition of Motorola was their official announcement and the recent re-branding of Motorola to ‘Moto by Lenovo’ basically means that they are all set to go big.

The Lenovo Lemon 3 has recently been released by the company and it comes in at the same $105 price point as the Xiaomi Redmi 3, and the devices have both been launched at the same time.

The Lenovo Lemon 3 comes with a 5 inched screen and runs on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor.

The device features 2GB of RAM and houses 16GB of storage space.

The processor, when compared to the price of the device is quite impressive, as a Snapdragon 616 on $100 devices is rarely heard of.

The camera too looks quite good on paper, as it stands at an impressive 13MP at the back and 5MP in the front.

The device is much appreciated for bringing in a solid processor at a low price point, but overall when one compares it with the other big release at the same price point, i.e. the Xiaomi Redmi 3, the Lenovo Lemon 3 looks quite lacklustre in comparison.

The company has been coming out with a large number of devices off late, a tactic straight out of Samsung’s book.

With so many early releases like this and the CES releases as well as the Lenovo Vibe K4 Note, it looks like Lenovo is all set to have a stellar 2016 ahead.
