In the coming days we will be assailed by a wave of exciting launches at CES 2016 and Lenovo MIIX 700 Business Edition is just the first proof of this.

The New Year hasn’t even started properly and gadget manufacturers are quick to show us what we should spend our money in 2016. As usual, the variety is overwhelming, but if you were looking for an alternative to Microsoft Surface Pro, the new Lenovo MIIX 700 Business Edition, could be perfect.

Illustrated above, the new hybrid from Lenovo, while it shares some traits with Microsoft’s creation, it has some particular features. Intended mainly for enterprise environments, hence the name, this version of Lenovo MIIX 700 is a major upgrade brought to the model released in September 2015.  Those who place a high value on data security will enjoy the presence of integrated TPM microchip. If you are unaware of its usefulness, the latter is a very safe cryptoprocesor for data encryption at the hardware level.

Regarding the rest of the hardware configuration, you may not see differences from the model announced in September. Lenovo MIIX 700 Business Edition is built around a 12-inch display available both with a Full HD resolution and  2160 x 1440 resolution and the processing part is a combination of an Intel Core M7 vPro, 8GB RAM and a 256 GB SSD.

At CES 2016 Lenovo came up with a huge variety of devices, from tablets and hybrids to all-in-one devices and 4K monitors. Unfortunately, as is the case Lenovo MIIX 700 Business Edition, currently we do not have many details about their purchase price and the actual availability. We only know that you will be able to order this MIIX 700 starting February this year.
