Lenovo is planning on launching their next Tab 4 Android tablets which will come in standard or ‘plus’ versions, in two different sizes: 8 inches or 10 inches.
Both Tab 4 8 inch and 10 inch tablets have a quad-core Snapdragon 425, 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage with the option of increasing it by using Micro SD cards. Both versions come with displays that have 1,280 x 800 pixels resolution with a difference in cameras: the Tab 4 – 8 inch version has a 2 MP front camera and a 5 MP rear camera, while the Tab 4 – 10 inch version has a 5 MP front camera with an 8 MP rear camera.
All Lenovo Tabs 4s, be it the Standard Tab 4 – 8 inch and 10 inch tablets or Tab 4 8 Plus and Tab 4 10 Plus have full HD displays. The Tab 4 8 Plus and Tab 4 10 Plus have 8 MP cameras at the back and 5 MP front cameras.
They come with octa-core Snapdragon 625, can get up to 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of internal storage, speakers in the front of the devices. The fingerprint sensor can be found in the power button for the Tab 4 8 Plus and for the Tab 4 10 Plusit comes with the home button.
Both 8 inch Tabs (the standard and the Plus ones) have 4,850 mAh batteries and the 10-inch Tab 4 (the standard and the Plus ones) come with 7,000 mAh batteries.
Unfortunately, the OS is Android 7.0 Nougat and users who will own a Tab 4 will need to wait for the updated Android 8.0 Oreo. For those who want to buy a Tab 4 device from US, they will only get one which has a max of 2 GB Ram and 16 GB internal storage. The versions that come from other places except the US will get stronger and better versions.
The only Tab 4 available on Lenovo official website is the Tab 10 Plus which starts from $279.99.
