LG has been a company which has been coming out with many rapid innovations off late.
The company has totally changed the way we know the markets of technology to be with their latest launches, as they released the much awaited, much speculated LG G5 at the Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona, Spain.
The LG G5 has been the talk of the town lately as LG has been challenging the likes of Samsung over the release of this device.
The company has come out with various updates and upgrades to the phone, which help the users ensure the best and the latest about the world of technology.
LG has now been offering the users something that they have never done before – a ‘magic slot’, as it is being called, has indeed been introduced which features the space for adding more modules.
Users can pull out the battery from the modular slot of the LG G5, and can insert other ‘friends’, which is what the company has been calling these modules.
The other friends would include a camera module, as well as various other similar modules that might release in the future.
The camera module for the LG G5 is being called the LG cam plus module, and comes with hardware buttons for releasing the shutter, zooming and flash.
The cam plus module also gives the users an additional 1200mAh of battery. A sound enhancement module called the LG Hi-Fi plus has also been released.
The company intends to also release a drone like module which will allow the users to control a drone from the LG G5. This phone has released with a 5.3 inched screen, and features many new and improved services. It also features a touchscreen sensor at the back below the camera, which also acts as a power button.
The modular technology is the highlight of the device though.
The phone also features dual rear cameras at 16MP and 8MP, as well as an 8MP front camera.
The LG G5 runs on the Snapdragon 820 SoC processor, features an Adreno 530 GPU for graphics, and comes out with a combination of an impressive 4GB RAM, with 32GB of inbuilt storage, and MicroSD support up to 2TB.
The phone also carries a USB Type-C port for connectivity. Despite all these amazing features, it is just 7.7 mm thick.
