Microsoft has been having a disastrous experience in the hardware market with their smartphones. However, they have their trademark Operating System, the Windows 10.

The success of Windows 10 in such a bad time was most welcome by the company and they have been trying hard to keep it up to date with regular updates.

Another one of the areas in which Microsoft seems to be doing well is the gaming industry. With their XBOX One they have been on the top with PS 4.

As they are regularly updating Windows 10 OS, they are ready to make some updates in XBOX One as well.

Some of the new features in XBOX One are as follows:

  • Know who’s in a Party: the participants of XBOX One preview will have the ability to see who’s in a party before joining in. now you can see who your friend is playing with before joining, you just need to click the ‘chat’ button which is located below the user to take a peep who’s in the party.
  • Gamescore leaderboard: Compare the total gamescore and see where you stand relative to your friends, along with biggest gains over a rolling 30-day period, you can do this by going over the Achievement section in your profile by clicking on ‘View Achievements’ in the sigh-in tab and experience the revived Gamescore Leaderboard.
  • Hide games from ‘ready to install list’: according to Microsoft, fans demanded that the option for hiding content such as betas, trials, games, and apps that they don’t want to install anymore, should be re-enabled. In the new update, the members of XBOX One preview will be given the liberty to start using this feature once again.
  • Access the pins offline after re-arranging them on Home: many users thought that pins were a little bit difficult to organize and they complained on the same. The XBOX One preview users now will be able to rearrange individual pins and the pins are also made accessible for launching even when you are offline.
  • Joinable Twitch Broadcasts: for the XBOX One preview users, Game tile along with Games Hub will allow you to launch Twitch.tv quite easily and it will be easier for you to watch your friends’ broadcasts, which is if they are also broadcasting.

The new update to XBOX One is definitely looking promising. We would love to hear what you think about it, so comment below and let us know.
