Last year Microsoft was very busy with the success of Windows 10, and tried its best to cash in on it. Microsoft released varieties of smartphones following the release of Windows 10.
Some of them were for high budget some were mid – budget and others for the rural markets. Lumia 640 XL can be considered for the mid – budget market and Lumia 550 is for the rural markets or for those who want to experience Windows 10.
Microsoft Lumia 640 XL LTE came out in the market with screen of 5.7-inches for a full HD display.
The smartphone by Microsoft comes out with 1 GB for RAM. In the storage department, Lumia 640 XL comes out with 8 GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable through a microSD memory card up to 200 GB.
The smartphone runs on a solid Snapdragon 400 SoC processor. In the connectivity department the Lumia 640 XL LTE supports 4G LTE connectivity and also features an option for Dual-SIM support.
Lumia 640 XL comes out sporting a 13 MP rear camera with a flashlight beside it and a 2 MP front camer for the selfies.
The smartphone by Microsoft has a decent battery of 3000mAh and the device is out – of – the – box Windows 10 OS.
Lumia 640 XL LTE is valued at $265 in the market.
Microsoft Lumia 550 comes out in the market with a screen of 4.7 – inches for a full HD display with 720 x 1280 resolutions along with the pixel density of 315 ppi.
The cheapest smartphone by Microsoft packs 1 GB of RAM. In the storage department, Lumia 550 features 8 GB as internal storage which can be expanded up to 200 GB with the help of a microSD memory card.
The Lumia 550 by Microsoft is by far the cheapest smartphone to feature out-of-the-box Windows 10. Thisentry level smartphone runs on the Windows 10 OS, and offers a 5MP camera at the rear along with a 2MP camera at the front for the selfies.
Lumia 550 runs on a decent quad – core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 SoC processor, the processors are timed at 1.1 GHz and it is accompanied by Adreno 304 GPU.
Lumia550 by Microsoft is valued at $139 in the market.
