Microsoft has been a giant in the world of technology for over the past 40 years. The company has been introducing several changes to the way the markets of technology function and has been a major agent of change in the world of technology.
Microsoft has now been tapping into a newer market which they were never a part of, before. The company has been coming out with more innovations which have helped them develop deeper into the markets. However, over the last few years, the Microsoft Mobiles have been facing major losses.
While it was reported last year that the Microsoft Mobiles division has bled out close to $8 billion in losses, the company had to let go of 7800 employees as a result.
The troubles did not end for Microsoft there, as the latest reports too, have not been so favorable. Microsoft has lost out over 50% of their market share recently, and the company has not been doing well in the markets of smartphones.
The company is now looking at terminating the Lumia series of devices, and will likely concentrate more on the Surface Phone, which they are expected to announce in the October of the year.
Microsoft is expected to release the Lumia 650 and the Lumia 650 XL as the last of the Lumia phones.

The phone is also expected to come out with a 3000mAh battery and will run on the Windows 10 Mobile OS. It is expected to come out with an 8MP camera on the back as well as on the front.
The reports pertaining to a Lumia 650 XL device have been quite new in recent times, as it is expected that the Lumia 850 has now been cancelled and has been rebrand as the Lumia 650 XL.
The device is expected to be 5.7 inches in size and is expected to come out with 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. The camera too is likely to be bumped up to 13MP and 8MP back and front for the Lumia 650 XL.
