Microsoft Lumia 650 – Microsoft’s unannounced surprise!

Microsoft has been one of the biggest names in the world of technology. The company has been innovating its way towards the future like no other, and has been taking things towards the direction of a major change. The company has been coming out with release after release which has surprised the users, and one of their best surprises is perhaps their best kept secrets – the Lumia 650.

Over the months several phones have been leaked, but they were the ones which were expected for quite a long time. However, in recent certification listings, a brand new Microsoft device has been found out – the Lumia 650, which was an unexpected surprise from Microsoft. The phone has been making news recently, and is expected to be announced at the Mobile World Congress 2016, along with a roadmap of more lumia devices for the year ahead. Microsoft is not expected to make any major announcements pertaining to their mobile phones division in the months to follow.

According to Chris Capossela, Microsoft’s EVP and CMO, the company is working on a ‘breakthrough’ device which is expected to bring many changes into the way the windows phones have been perceived in the markets. Was he possibly hinting towards a surface phone? Only time can tell.

However, for the time being, the leader in global software technology is venturing into the markets of hardware technology with slow strides, and Microsoft’s greatest achievements have been towards their mobile phone division, which will soon feature the Lumia 650. Here’s an image depicting the upcoming phone:

The Lumia 650 is expected to release into the markets with 5 inches of screen size, along with 2GB RAM and Snapdragon 212 SoC. There has been no detail about the phone which has been officially confirmed yet.

Microsoft’s efforts towards newer windows phones are justified, as the company is in desperate need of growing their numbers. The Microsoft Lumia 650 comes in at a needy hour for Microsoft, and the phone is expected to be priced at a budget price point.

Microsoft Mobiles have been suffering major losses, as the company lost 8Billion dollars and 7800 employees across the globe lost their jobs in a cost-cutting effort. The Nokia deal has fallen flat on its face, and Microsoft is now trying their best to pull their act together and bounce back into the markets. The Microsoft Lumia 650 is yet another effort towards getting back in the markets.
