Microsoft has been a company which has been surprising the users at times they least expect it.
The fact that the company had been working on a brand new mobile phone had been quite obvious for some time now.
However, the Lumia 650 has now officially been announced, and the device is all set to dazzle the audiences with its ‘business class’ appeal.
Microsoft Corporation has been in the business for over 40 years now, and have been coming out with a larger number of software releases; so many that they are actually the market leaders in software technology.
However such a situation is not the case when one takes a look at the way the company’s hardware division has been growing.
Microsoft Corporation has been coming out with these frequent updates and upgrades which have helped them shape the markets, and they intend to give hardware a whole new approach with the Lumia 650.
It was earlier being anticipated that the Lumia 650 will be the ‘last lumia’ device to ever release. However, no such announcement has been made, but the company has indeed made a remarkable change in the strategy.
As a matter of fact, there are two changes! Primarily, the ‘business class’ association has been heavily made with the phone.
The Microsoft Lumia 650, which releases into the markets with 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of storage space. The phone releases with a 2000mAh battery, and features a rather low-power chipset.
The previous speculations had all indicated that the phone will be featuring a Snapdragon 410 SoC, however the company has released the phone with a Snapdragon 212 processor.
This has been a major let down for many users. The company has released the phone featuring an 8MP primary camera and a 5MP camera in the front.
The second major factor which is expected to help the phone bounce back into the markets is the ‘business’ appeal of the device.
Microsoft has not only been talking about this phone to be a business device, but has also been working towards the fact that it does look like a business phone too.
The company has released the Lumia 650 with an aluminum frame, giving it a more classy and a premium look.
Despite the premium look, the device is priced in at just $200, and is one of the better efforts by the company to boost the sales of the Windows 10 Mobile devices.
