Microsoft has been a name which has always been among the league of giants when it comes to the world of technology.
The company has been around for over the past 40 years, and has changed the way the markets work.
They have traditionally been a name which has had a dominating hold over the markets of software technology but have recently been quite active in the markets of hardware too.
Microsoft have been trying their best to bring around a change in the markets of hardware technology, but have largely been unsuccessful at that.
From a very dismal performance of their XBXO One devices to a nightmarish run with the Lumia series of phones, Microsoft has been facing troubled waters off late in almost all of their hardware ventures.
In a latest update it has now been brought to light that even the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 was beaten in numbers when compared to the iPad Pro’s sales.
With these reports flowing in, the overall morale at the Microsoft HQ is quite low, and especially at the Microsoft Mobiles division. The company is now expected to be working on the final few Lumia devices, and the last release is expected to be that of the Lumia 650 XL.
There have been several reports about the Lumia 650, which we have covered HERE in detail. However, the company intends to release one final device along with the 650, which will be that of the Lumia 650 XL.
Microsoft’s Lumia 650 XL has now become the latest to be reported as the ‘last Lumia’, and is, in all probability, the Lumia 850 being re-brand by the company. Microsoft had been ready with the Luima 850 for quite a while and leaked covers and cases had indicated how the device would look like.
The phone is expected to be 5.7 inches in size, and will run on 1.5GB of RAM along with 16GB of Storage.
The device will run on the Windows 10 Mobile OS out of the box, and will feature an expandable storage up to 32GB.
The device is expected to carry a 3200mAh battery and will be running on a Snapdragon 615 SoC. The device will be coming in the same body as most other Lumia phones and is not much of a spectacle design-wise.
More details to be unveiled as they fall through. Stay tuned with us for the latest news on the Lumia devices.
