Well 15th December, 2015 has finally gone by and the response for Windows devices in the emirates has been overwhelming.

Apart from the Lumia 950 and the Lumia 950 XL, which were of prime importance in the show, the new surface Pro was also introduced.

All these devices would go on sale in the emirates From January 1st, 2016. Sounds like a lovely opportunity to gift your loved ones a beautiful techy gift if you are stating in the emirates.

According to the Partner Strategy and Program Lead of Microsoft in the Gulf, Mohammed Arif, the company tried making the Surface pro thinner but could not because they were keen to keep the USB port 3.0

However, the stars of the show were the Lumia 950 and the Lumia 950 XL.

Both these devices function on the windows 10.

Probably the most attractive feature of these phones were the use of Continuum, a feature that allows these devices to function like a PC.

You can connect the device to a screen to get a larger display and the device will start working just like a desktop.

Apart from the larger screen one can also add peripherals alike a keyboard and a mouse, that are of utmost importance to any desktop.

With this feature, using stuff like MS office becomes much easier, without having to carry a bulky laptop or a larger surface around.

If you are considering the Lumia 950 and 950 XL for entertainment purposes then you would not be disheartened.

However, you would be better off using this for your professional purposes.

The phone provides a fairly good battery backup and has a very clear screen, capable of HD quality output.

The launch event in Dubai features some other accessories for sale as well. For example, the display dock and continuum accessory pack were also put on sale and the results were quite unexpected.

Microsoft representatives in Dubai were pretty pleased with the outcome of the event and hope that Windows 10 will soon power billions of devices across the globe within a couple of years.
