Microsoft has been one of the biggest names in the world of technology for the past 41 years. The company has been dominating the markets of technology like no other force known to us. Microsoft has changed the way we perceive technology to be. They have managed to come out with some of the biggest innovations of the modern day, and have held the markets of hardware technology with a tight grip. Microsoft has been advancing into the markets of hardware technology, with slow strides though. Their Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL have been acting as the harbingers of change here.

Microsoft has ventured into the world of hardware technology with the release of the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL devices, and with the release of the surface pro and surface book, along with the other Lumia phones. The company started off with their ventures in October, and they have ever since been heading forward with a rapid pace. This has come in after the company suffered major losses, amounting up to $8 Billion, and with 7800 of their employees facing a job cut. Microsoft Mobiles has now become a much stronger division than it was when the financial reports came out.

Microsoft’s Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL have now been acting as the frontrunners in the line, and come with many modern day features. The 950 XL comes with slightly advanced features. The primary difference between the two devices lies in the fact that the Lumia 950 comes with a 5.2 inched screen, while the Lumia 950 XL comes with a larger screen, at 5.7 inches. The 950 comes out into the markets with a Snapdragon 808 SoC, while the XL variant of the phone comes with Snapdragon 810 SoC, which is more powerful of the two. Microsoft Lumia 950, 950 XL, 550m Windows 10

Both the phones come with similar features, and bring to the table 3GB of RAM, along with 32GB of built-in storage. The phones both feature advanced technologies such as a USB C port, and for the first time ever, these phones have released with a new technology featuring ‘liquid cooling’. The phones also feature Continuum which enables the users to easily switch screens from their phones to their computers.

The phones both come with a 20MP camera and 5MP of front camera, as well as a triple LED flash and a dedicated camera button.

The liquid cooling technology is quite a new trend in the markets, and it is especially useful when a processor which is prone to overheating, such as the Snapdragon 808 or the Snapdragon 810 are in the picture.
