Microsoft Mobiles has had a very tough time cooping in the smartphone market in the recent times. Recently it was discovered that the company was in an $8 billion loss in the smartphone market. Now due to this mammoth loss that the company suffered, Microsoft had to let go of more than 7500 employees all around the globe.

There was however a ray of hope for Microsoft in the form of Windows 10. The software earned them some if not all their glory back. Now the company tried to capitalize on this profitable situation by launching many devices in quick succession.

The most interesting of those devices are:

Microsoft Lumia 640 XL LTE.

Microsoft Lumia 550.

Microsoft Lumia 950 &

Microsoft Lumia 950 XL.

Powered by Microsoft Mobiles, The Lumia 640 XL 4G LTE and Lumia 550 are the phones for the rural or mid – budget markets in order to get every single consumer possible. The prize tags on these smartphones are $ 265 and $ 130 respectively.

Both smartphones came out in the market with 1 GB of RAM to offer and in the storage department also both offer the same 8 GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 200 GB via microSD memory card. Microsoft Lumia

The Lumia 640 XL features a 13 MP rear camera and a 5MP camera for the front side, while Lumia 550 features a 5 MP rear camera and a 2 MP front camera. Lumia 640 XL runs on a Snapdragon 400 SoC processor and has a mega 3000 mAh long lasting battery while Lumia 550 runs on a Snapdragon 210 SoC processor. Lumia 640 XL and Lumia 550 comes out with 5.7 and 4.7 inched screen with HD display respectively.

Microsoft Mobiles now has a flagship – Microsoft Lumia 950 & Microsoft Lumia 950 XL comes out with a lot of common features. Both the Lumia phones come out with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB for inbuilt storage which can be expanded up to 200 GB, for that there is a microSD card slot available. Both the devices feature a 20 MP rear camera alongside a triple LED flashlight along with a 5 MP front camera with a camera dedicated button on both phones. Both Lumia phones support 4G LTE connectivity and a USB Type – C connectivity.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 runs on a strong Snapdragon 808 processor and is priced at $ 549.

The Nokia Lumia 950 XL runs on a powerful Lumia 810 SoC processor and is priced at $649.
