Microsoft Working On More Low Budget Windows 10 Mobile Phones ?

Microsoft has been a company which has been around the markets of technology for quite a long while now.

The company has been the undisputed champion when it comes to the software markets, but has off late been doing some good work in the hardware division too.

Last October, Microsoft started off their mega campaign towards the development of the Windows 10 OS in hardware, and the company released several updates for the users of the PCs, Consoles and Tablets.

The mobile phone devices didn’t get much in the form of software but got it in the form of hardware releases – as they flagged off the flagship device Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL, as well as the low-budget, entry-level phone, Lumia 550.

Microsoft has now released the Lumia 650, a few months after the release of the 550. While the phones have been positioned very differently, the 650 in reality appears to be a minor improvement to the Lumia 550.

The Lumia 550 was positioned on the lines of being a low-budget and an entry-level phone, running the Microsoft Windows 10 Mobile OS.

However, things have been changing since then, as Microsoft has now been working in the direction of progress in the hardware sector.

The Lumia 550 offers a 4.7 inch screen, and runs on the Windows 10 Mobile OS. The phone features 1GB of RAM and has only 8GB of storage space.

The device has a 5MP primary camera at the back and a 2MP camera in the front as well. Microsoft has been working on reducing the costs and the Lumia 550 is priced in at $139.

The phone has a 2100 mAh battery life and runs on the Snapdragon 210 SoC Processor.

The Lumia 650 on the other hand comes out with a 5 inched screen, and features the same 1GB of RAM. However, the storage has been doubled, as the device comes out into the markets with 16GB of storage space.

The phone runs the Windows 10 Mobile OS, and has a new and improved camera too, as the Lumia 650 has 13mP of primary camera along with a 5MP front cam.

The phone runs on a Snapdragon 212 SoC processor, and features 2000mAh of battery. The Lumia 650 is priced in at $199.
