Mortal Kombat XL by NetherRealm studios and Warner Bros. has been a great hit with people around the world.

It has been branded as number nine in the top ten games in the world in 2015. The popularity of the game can be gauged simply by studying statistics around the world.

The steam platform has about 500,000 players for the Mortal Kombat game. The new version of the game is going to be launched on 1st March 2016 for the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4, but unfortunately, the company does not really have plans to launch the game for the PC version yet, which might be very disappointing for the PC users.

Europe also faces the same judgement for its PC users. The console users in the European continent get the release on 4th March.

Apparently, the new version of the game has been designed by the NetherRealm studios and Warner Bros.to encash the fame of the game.

The new version, also termed as the Mortal Kombat XL has been designed to include not only the main game but also the additional characters that have been provided seasonally to the game. It will also include the upcoming DLC that was scheduled to be launched.

So technically, if you are buying the Mortal Kombat XL, you are actually buying the Xtra Large pack of the game and will get almost every little thing the game has ever had to provide. The future DLC, has been termed as the Kombat Pack 2 DLC.

The Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 users will have access to some of the major characters of the game that will feature as the Anti heroes.

The most notable ones will include Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the Xenomorph Alien from Ridley Scott’s Alien movie series, Bo’Rai Cho, one of the characters from the older series of Mortal Kombat and Triborg, a creature that is actually a hybrid and will contain traits of the robotic Smoke, Cyrax, and Sektor.

This was confirmed in the message boards of the game by an insider from the NetherRealm Studios. He specifies in the community message board that the special characters would unfortunately be missing from the game altogether.
