Moto Z3 Play CAD Renders Revealed By OnLeaks


Moto Z3 Play, the next mid-range smartphone from Motorola, is still under development but that does not stop the new information to leak and reveal some key issues about the future smartphone’s design, specs, and features. Recently the Moto Z3 Play 3D model was revealed by OnLeaks and KillerFeatures.

Moto Z3 Play boasts an 18:9 display ratio and fingerprint sensor on the side

According to the images generated on the basis of CAD sketches leaked from an insider, the Moto Z3 Play will come with a design that is largely unchanged in comparison with the prior model, at least on the back side of the phone where the distinctive features of the Motorola logo and a dual camera fitted with a circular ornament are observable.

But at the front, we find a new 18:9 display aspect ratio along with the Motorola logo on the bottom.

Another important detail is the presence of a fingerprint sensor mounted on the side frame.

Also used in older smartphone models, this type of configuration of the biometric sensor on the side of the phone has been abandoned by most manufacturers due to malfunctions due to the too small surface available for fingerprinting.

We can only hope that Motorola has resolved this limitation, in the meantime.

Moto Z3 is compatible with Moto Mods accessories

Compatible with Moto Mods accessories, the Moto Z3 Play includes the rear accessory harness with a magnetic fastening system.

However, the headphone connector is missing, and its functionality will be taken over by a 3.5mm USB-C adapter included in the accessories package.

Moto Z3 Play technical specs

The configuration would be centered around the Snapdragon 636 chipset, sustained by 4 GB of RAM.

The list of technical specs is completed with up to 64GB of storage space, 12MP + 8MP cameras at the back, and a 3000mAh battery.
