Yesterday, we’ve told you that the OnePlus 5 flash sale registration on JD website from China has already started. However, it seems that from today, you are able to pre-order the device from OppoMart, even if the manufacturer hasn’t introduced the device.
We need to mention that OppoMart is a reseller of Chinese smartphones and currently you can pre-order the OnePlus 5 for $549 from the mentioned website. The website has also listed OnePlus 5’s specifications, but we need to mention that they are not very accurate.
OppoMart claims that the OnePlus 5 device will come with a 5.5-inch QHD display that will support a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. However, we need to mention that OnePlus already (indirectly) confirmed that device will come with a 5.5-inch full HD display that will support a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels.
However, it seems that the rest of specifications are a bit more accurate, even if there are some mistakes when it comes to the processor. OppoMart claims that the Snapdragon 835 64-bit SoC is a quad-core processor, when in fact it is an octa-core SoC.
OppoMart also lists the OnePlus 5 to come with a 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. This might be true, but there are reports suggesting that the device will also be available with 8GB of RAM. When it comes to the cameras, the OnePlus 5 is expected to sport a primary one of 12MP and a secondary of 12MP. However, we need to mention that some previous reports were suggesting that the device will sport a dual-primary camera of 16MP+20MP and a secondary one of 8MP.
OppoMart has confirmed that it will start shipping out the OnePlus 5 at the beginning of the next month. OnePlus is expected to officially announce this device on June 20, 2017.
Will you pre-order the OnePlus 5 device from OppoMart or you will wait for some reviews to appear on the internet after the handset is launched?
