Pokémon Go is an augmented reality mobile game from Nintendo that has been developed and published by Niantic Labs. The game has been released in select countries for mobile devices that run on Android and iOS.
The game was firstly released in New Zealand and Australia yesterday and, later, it became available in the US as well. In concordance with “The Wall Street Journal”, the Pokémon Company is asking users from Japan to wait for a little while for this game to be finally released in those markets. Unfortunately, we’re not sure when this game will be released in Canada, UK and other countries.
If you didn’t read about Pokémon Go before, then you should know that this game is using your smartphone’s camera and sensors and location algorithms in order to place the Pokémon in the “real” world. In other words, by traveling around to some locations in your city and landmarks, you will be able to catch these creatures and train them to battle for you.
Pokémon Go is a free game, but it does come with micro-transactions which cost 0.99 dollars to 99.99 dollars. In addition, you will be able to purchase “Pokémon Go Plus”, which is a wearable wrist device that you will be able to use in this game. The “Pokémon Go Plus” wearable wrist costs 35 dollars and it will be available in stores sometime later this month.
If you are a Pokémon fan, this is surely one of those games that should be installed on your smartphone. Once you install the game on your handset, just go out and search for some Pokémons. It is good to know that you will also be able to trade Pokémons that you catch.
