After months of leaks and rumors on the much-anticipated phone of the year, OnePlus 5 is finally getting an official launch on June 20 at New York. Prior to the launch, the smartphone is coming to India on June 22, as confirmed by the company. It will be an Amazon-exclusive in the country, just like the previous handsets OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T.
According to True-Tech, the OnePlus 5 will come in two RAM variants, with one of them sporting a massive 8 gigs of RAM. The website mentions that the 6GB RAM/64GB storage variant will carry a price tag of Rs. 32,999 (~$513), while the 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant will cost a whopping Rs. 37,999 (~$590) in the country.

The bump-up in the price might seem shocking at first glance, yet it doesn’t seem unreasonable assuming that the device will pack all the latest software and hardware goodies inside. If we are to go by the price, then OnePlus 5 will mark the most expensive smartphone ever made by the Chinese company.

- RAM and Storage: 6/64GB & 8/128GB
