Ripple XRP Former and Current CEOs are Now Billionaires

As an overall, the entire value of the cryptocurrency market is now estimated to be over $600 billion. This market cap shows us that all the world’s millionaires and billionaires are investing in cryptocurrencies. Although, the reason why this is happening is quite obvious because nearly all popular cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple XRP have seen a major growth in value.

Cryptocurrency Billionaires

While the entire world keeps investing all their money in cryptocurrencies, there are some people who are getting richer by the day because of those investments. We are talking about the current and former CEOs of Ripple who sell the XRP coin. Unlike most cryptocurrencies, XRP decided to team up with banks instead of competing against them and this is solidifying the stability of XRP.

As of January 1st, Ripple reached the market cap of $88.9 billion and one XRP coin is valued at $2.39. This is great news for people who invested in Ripple because the cryptocurrency surpassed Ethereum and is now valued as the second biggest crypto asset.

Ripple XRP Billionaire

Chris Larsen, who is the co-founder and former CEO of Ripple owns 5.19 billion XRP and a 17% stake in the company. Even though he is not the company’s CEO anymore because he decided to step down back in November of 2016, his net worth is valued at $37.3 billion. This puts Chris Larsen on the 15th spot as in the list of richest people in America.

Current Ripple CEO

Talking about Ripple CEOs, Brad Garlinghouse who is the current CEO owns 6.3% stake of the company and a bunch of XRP tokens which make him worth a total of $9.5 billion. The billions that Ripple’s former and current CEOs were able to make are a direct result of XRP’s 2017 price which skyrocketed from $0.0006 to $2.30.
