As of May 13, 2022, Ming-Chi Kuo, a well-known Apple expert, tweeted that the firm would release a new generation of Apple TV that helps to improve business model in 2H22.
In the analyst’s opinion, Apple will aggressively pursue a subscription model that combines equipment, entertainment, and services. A new, more cheap Apple TV might be introduced by Apple at a lower cost than ever before. It’s not clear what more the expert has to say in his tweet.
Streaming media players like Amazon’s Fire TV Stick & Fire TV Stick 4K have already dominated the market for smart media players in recent years, and Apple is no doubt hoping to get a portion of that action. The basic Apple TV costs $149, while the Apple TV 4K costs $179. Also, in the next month, Apple will hold its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WDC).
Is it possible that the revamped Apple TV will be unveiled during the event? It’s possible, but doubtful that the corporation may do something unexpected for its followers. On the other side, “2H22” might indicate that Apple would unveil this gadget with integrated service at its October keynote.
Apple is likely to unveil iOS 16, the company’s next major version of its mobile operating system, during its annual event this year. A year ago, at WWDC 2021, Apple revealed iOS 15, which was later launched with the iPhone 13. A strong likelihood exists that the corporation will do the same this year. With the release of iOS 16, Apple is also expected to unveil the newest versions of iPadOS, macOS as well as watchOS & tvOS. Other than this, Apple is likely to unveil some new tech, including a redesigned Apple silicon CPU for the Mac Pro.
