Samsung has been a company which has been constantly coming out with a large number of updates and upgrades in the world of technology.
The company has been the force behind some of the biggest innovations of recent times, and has been around in the market for quite a while.
They are one of the smartest business units, and of the biggest benefactors of the android revolution, as the company has managed to hold on to the top spot for a good six to seven years.
The company is now working on their next generation of flagship phones, the Samsung Galaxy S7. Samsung’s latest release is all set to bring out a major changes and is quite a power packed release.
The device comes with many features, and here are some of the details and specs about the device –
- The Variants
The S7 is expected to release in one base model, which comes with 5.1 inches of screen, and 4GB of RAM, along with 64GB of storage, which can further be expanded with the help of MicroSD card. The device comes with 2800mAh of battery.
There are two other variants based on size and design – the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, which comes with an edge display and a larger frame.
The other is the Samsung Galax S7 Edge Plus which comes with an ever larger frame and dual edges.
Based on processors, each of these three devices have two variants each – One featuring the Snapdragon 820, which would be available for some regions, and the other featuring the Exynos 8890, which would be accessible for the other regions.
- iPhone-Like Features
The device is expected to carry many iPhone-like features, such as the Pressure Sensitive Screen and the Vivid Photos – Samsung’s answer to Apple’s 3D Touch and Live Photos.
The pressure sensitive screen has been reported by the Wall Street Journal and according to their reports, Samsung is all set to combat the competition that comes from Apple’s use of 3D Touch technology with this one.
Similarly, various other reports claim that the company is also working on a technology to capture moving images, similar to Apple’s Live pictures, which, however, will not be capturing audio in them.
