The rumors have started piling up for the next big addition to the Galaxy family by Samsung. A reliable tipster has revealed that there are going to be four editions of Galaxy S7. Evan Blass is a known tipster who constantly keeps updating about upcoming devices. According to the reliable tipster, the four variants of Galaxy’s newest edition are Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Plus, Galaxy S7 Edge and Galaxy S7 Edge Plus. By the names it can be understood that the Plus variants are going to be the upgraded versions of the other two smartphones.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and Edge Plus will have the feature of Dual – Edge display which anyone can guess judging by their names. There have been more leaks by other sources too.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the company is looking to feature a pressure – sensitive screen in their latest flagship of smartphones. The pressure – sensitive screens are something Apple used in their recently launched smartphones.
Recent leaks suggest that Galaxy S7 will feature 5.1 – inched Super Amoled display containing QHD (1440×2560 pixels) resolution. Other rumors by a Weibo based tipster suggests that the Galaxy S7 will come out with a 5.2 – inched screen rather than 5.1. The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is tipped to have a 5.5 – inched curved screen with Super Amoled display containing QHD (1440 x 2560 pixels) resolution.
Both the smartphones, Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge are said to run on either Exynos 8 octa-core processor or Snapdragon 820 processor. More information which is leaked suggests that both phones could come with 2.3GHz quad – core + 1.6GHz quad – core.
Both the phones are set to feature 4 GB of RAM. More so both, Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge are tipped to launch in 32GB and 64GB storage variants of storage capacities which will be expandable up to 200 GB through a microSD memory card. Both the up – coming smartphones by Samsung are said to sport a 12 MP rear camera featuring f/1.7 aperture. There is no word on what the front camera will pack but it can be assumed a classic 5 MP front camera for the selfies and video calling have a lot of odd of featuring in its favor. The battery expectation of Galaxy S7 is 3000 mAh and for Galaxy S7 Edge expectations will be for a 3600 mAh battery.
