Samsung Galaxy S7 Cases On Sale – Has The Phone Been Leaked To Insiders?

The Samsung Galaxy S7 has been discussed on many forums as the upcoming Galaxy S series product, but E-commerce giant, DHGate, has gone a step further.

It has recently started selling on the website some cases which according to it are going to be suitable for the Samsung Galaxy S7.

This move was rather bold. Based simply on the specifications that were drawn up in the rumor mills going around over the internet, the manufacturer launched a specific phone case.

If the specifications are right, then the cases would be in worldwide demand, as people would start ordering the cases as soon as they start pre-ordering the phones.

However, if the specs do not turn out to be correct and if there are any last minute changes then they are done for – all inventory would be lying around, not utilized, and would be a waste of resources until miraculously, some other company comes up with something more relevant to the dimensions of the case.

The case has been priced under $2 per piece and is being sold as ‘New Robot Hybrid 2 in 1 Cases Rugged Armor Defender silicone Cover’ and it is apparently usable for the iPhone 6, iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, iPhone 5, iPhone 5S, Samsung Galaxy S5, Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Samsung Galaxy S7.

Previously, the rumored specs had allowed a render of the Galaxy S7 to be drawn up. The design of the case clearly represents the specifications mentioned in the render, further raising the question – is the render really close to the original one?

The renders of the Galaxy S7 had previously showed how Samsung had chosen strengthened glass to be put on the front and the back of the phone.

The buttons and ports at the side of the phone would be based on the thin metal rim that runs around the phone.

Other details of the phone show that the USB port type C has not been used. A Micro USB port has been added instead.

Whether the phone memory is expandable or not has not been made clear yet, but the render does not show any signs of there being any ports for the memory card.

What do you think about this phone case? Should it really have been released for the phone right now?
