One of the biggest releases at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain was that of the Samsung Galaxy S7.

The company has released the phone featuring some of the best features of the modern era.

The device had been one of the most anticipated names at the event, and when it comes to living up to the expectations, Samsung did not disappoint at all.

The phone, and the edged variant, are both flagship material, and are truly some of the best innovations we have seen at the MWC events.

To begin with, the Samsung Galaxy S7 is certainly a major, major improvement over the Samsung Galaxy S6, which is a blunder of historic proportion for Samsung.

The company has been trying hard to recover from the loss of credibility that the S6 brought to their flagship division, and it looks like the S7 is indeed a good way to bring back the faith.

Before anything else, the S7 does a few corrections of the errors that they made last time – the phone brings back two of the most popular features of the Samsung Galaxy S series of phones back, which means that it comes out with waterproofing as well as a support for MicroSD cards.

The company had been criticized over this last year and the S6 as well as the Note 5 didn’t do as well as they were expected to.

The Samsung Galaxy S7, however lived up to most speculations, and the phone came out into the markets with a 5.1 inched screen.

The device features 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage along with a 3000mAh battery life. The S7 Edge comes out with a 5.5 inched screen and a 3600mAh battery.

The processor of both the devices comes out in two variants, one featuring the Snapdragon 820 and the other featuring the Exynos 8890.

The company has also announced that the phones will be going on sale starting the 11th of March. Samsung Galaxy S7 will also be shipping with a free Samsung Gear VR, which in itself, costs $100.

The pricing details for the phone have not been revealed as of now, but it is expected to cost somewhere near $750 for the basic variant and over $850 for the S7 Edge.

  1. About the missing IR blaster in the Note 5 and S7, I have a solution for that.

It’s a Kickstarter campaign soon to be launch.

Galaxy S7 and Note 5 are supported, and then you will have the IR blaster on S7. That way you will enjoy the wonderful S7 and still have IR in your smartphone.
