A reliable tipster, Evan Blass has revealed that there are set to be four variants in the up-coming Samsungs flagship of smartphones.
He went on to name them as, Samsung Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy S7 Plus and Galaxy S7 Edge Plus.
The plus variants are said to be the upgraded versions and the Edge versions are said to feature Dual – Edge display.
The Wall Street Journal has released a report in which the company claims that the next big addition to the Galaxy family by Samsung are set to feature the pressure – sensitive screens, something we all saw in the last iPhone variants.
According to more leaks, Samsung Galaxy S7 is set to feature a screen of 5.2 – inched Super Amoled display featuring QHD (1440 x 2560 pixel) resolution.
Another Weibo based tipster has claimed the screen of Galaxy will be 5.2 – inches instead of 5.1 – inches, small fractions to speculate on only the company will be able to clear that up.
On the other hand, Galaxy S7 Edge is set to feature a screen of 5.5 – inches of Super Amoled Dual – Edge display featuring QHD (1440 x 2560 pixel) resolution.
In the processor front, both Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge are tipped to run on either Exynos 8 octa-core processor or Snapdragon 820 processor, the leak further indicates that four of the processors could be clocked at 2.3 GHz and the other four might be clocked at 1.6 GHz.
The latest addition to Galaxy series of smartphones by Samsung are tipped to come with 4 GB for RAM. Both Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge are rumored to be releasing with internal storage variants which are 32 GB of inbuilt storage and 64 GB of inbuilt storage capacities which will be expandable through a microSD memory card.
Both the up-coming smartphones are tipped to sport a 12 MP rear camera featuring f/1.7 aperture alongside a flashlight and there has been no word about the front camera yet but we can assume it will be either 5 MP or 8 MP for selfies and video calling purposes.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 is set to feature a battery of 3000 mAh and the Galaxy S7 Edge is set to feature a battery of 3600 mAh.
