Nowadays, one of or top priorities should be preserving our environment. Although the current president of one of the world’s biggest superpowers (we’re not naming any names, but you all know who we’re talking about) doesn’t believe that climate change and global warming are real, we hope that all of you out there are well aware of the fact that they are. Our planet is in danger, and if we don’t start to take drastic measures to help it soon, we will be wiped out. And all we’ll have to blame for that will be our own ignorance and mistakes.
Unfortunately, some of the strongest polluting agents that damage our planet’s ozone layer and protective atmosphere are cars. Yes, dear old cars are destroying our world, but you already knew that. And yet we all keep on using them, because they’re fast and reliable. When you need to get from A to B fast, a car is the way to go. Unfortunately, eco-friendly transport via bicycle is simply not an option in today’s fast paced world.
But fortunately for us, there is a glimmer of hope: electric vehicles. Although a car that runs solely on electricity seemed like wishful thinking back in the day, now it’s a reality. Some of the main vehicles in this category are produced by Tesla, but the new best name in the game is the Chevrolet Bolt. The Chevrolet Bolt can go a whopping 238 miles after just one charge according to the Environmental Protection Agency.
And even though EPA estimates for such cars generally fall short, in the case of the Bolt it’s the other way around. Realistically speaking, the Chevrolet Bolt can actually go for a total of 250 miles after one single charge. So it’s time to start considering this option.
