Telegram, the famous messaging software, has just released an update for its users. In the next version, users will be able to design their personal alert tones, establish unique time lengths for muting conversations, and so on. Telegram has delivered three updates so far this year, the very first 2 in January as well as the third one in March.

The ability to use any audio as an alert tone is now available to Telegram members. Custom notifications based on music and memes might be created by users. Users will be able to add brief audio files or voice messages from chat to their collection of alert sounds by just tapping on them. Users may then customize their own conversation tones by assigning these tunes to certain chats. Messages that are less than 5 seconds long and less than 300 KB in size are supported by the functionality, Telegram says.

Intriguingly, Telegram is now allowing users to choose their own silence lengths. Users will be able to choose the length of time that a conversation should be muted using this feature. One hour, 2 hours, a day, a week, or maybe even a month is all that is required. Message auto-delete has also been added to the service, allowing users to choose a time period for messages to be deleted. The sender of a redirected communication may also be seen by the recipient.

Message Translation & Android’s Picture-in-Picture feature are two more capabilities that have been enhanced in the latest Telegram version. Telegram has also included a plethora of new dynamic emoticons to go along with this. The most recent additions to Telegram’s feature set elevate it to the status of a viable alternative to WhatsApp as a messaging service.
