Chinese phones have become more and more attractive over the past few years, with generous screen sizes and thinner frames, and the Vivo X21i is the latest proof of this reality.
A few days ago, we’ve seen the first details about the upcoming Vivo X21i as the phone has been certified by TENAA in order to be sold in China. Also, some of its specifications have been confirmed with the Geekbench benchmark site.
However, any trace of mystery about Vivo X21i has been shattered by China Telecom.
The Asian operator has mistakenly confirmed most of the aesthetic and performance details you would like to know about the latest and most eye-catching Vivo smartphone.
Vivo X21i Technical Specifications
The phone, scheduled to be released before the end of this month, will boast a 6.28-inch display with Full HD+ native resolution (2280 x 1080 pixels).
In terms of design, the front side will have no home button, just a discreet top notch for the front camera, proximity sensor, and speaker.
Although it is not excluded to include a facial authentication solution, a traditional fingerprint sensor will be placed on the back, above the Vivo logo.
Two main cameras of 12 and 25 megapixels, respectively, should be sufficient for a huge variety of scenes. Selfies will be loaded with details you’ve never seen before thanks to the 24 MP front camera sensor.
The performance will be provided by an Helio P60 SoC MediaTek octa-core, with 4 Cortex A73 cores at 2 GHz and 4 A53 Cortex cores also at 2 GHz. The processing power is backed up by 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage space which can be upgraded up to 256 Gb with a microSD card.
The preinstalled operating system will be Android 8.1 which will run the Funtouch OS 4.0 proprietary GUI.
The Vivo X21i will arrive in stores starting with May 19th and will be available in Ruby Red, Aurora White, and Polar Night Black colors at an approximate price of $426.
