WhatsApp for Windows Phone Devices Now Gets a Video Trimmer

WhatsApp has been one of the leading names when it comes to the world of technology, and the company has been updating and upgrading their services over a long run in the recent days.

The company came out as a major force in the markets of technology, and has changed many things in the way the devices operate.

With the arrival of WhatsApp, the markets of communication technology have witnessed a major change, and the very pattern of user’s way of operating has changed.

Technology in communication has been advancing at a very rapid pace and things have become much faster and much accessible with this app.

WhatsApp, which is now a Facebook property, has been getting many updates and upgrades since its acquisition, and the Windows Phone users have much to be thankful for.

In a time where many popular apps are either refusing to join their OS, or are dropping support for them, WhatsApp has just introduced a new update which brings in a much needed video trimmer for the windows phone devices.

The company has introduced the following changes in the WhatsApp Beta for Windows Phone devices:

1) The progress bar now works when you send large videos

2) The more recent and not working video progress bar has been removed.

3) The new Video Trimmer has been updated

4) WhatsApp beta users can no longer send documents to WhatsApp public version users

The Beta App cannot be downloaded at the moment, and is only for the users who have been given access to it for beta testing purposes. This new version of the WhatsApp Beta app is v2.12.344

This new update for WhatsApp is rather useful, as it now allows the users to bring in many changes to the way they use WhatsApp.

One of the biggest benefits of this update has been the fact that users can now send across videos which are larger in size as the new update compresses them very well.

This update has been indeed been a major one for the users, and Microsoft has finally got a sigh of relief as the market conditions have been rather adverse when it comes to windows phone devices.

Microsoft, with this has received a major boost for their platform as it brings the latest WhatsApp features into the mix.

  1. WhatsApp has been good to the W10M platform as of late. I suspect they know W10M is going to see big growth in the coming months and years.
