The Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is expected to be released on PC in 2022. Uncharted has been a long time coming for PC video game players, and now it appears that a launch date is imminent.
In 2021, a compendium of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy called the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection was revealed. Despite the lack of a true release date, PlayStation quietly updated the collection’s Steam registry listing to reflect the new launch date. But a recent edit to Uncharted: Legacy of the Thieves Collection’s Steam listing has given gamers renewed hope that a new release date will be announced soon.
On October 19, 2022, a new patch for Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves will be released. A change to the Steam profile is not a public announcement of the collection’s launch date. Although it hasn’t been affirmed yet, this time frame could become legitimate in the near future. Since PlayStation is the one who is altering the release date, this information has more heft than if it were obtained through yet another retailer.
The prospect of an Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection launch date excites some while frustrating others. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy has yet to receive an official launch, but it was previously mentioned on Steam’s profile as of July 15th. Although it’s not clear if July 15 was ever meant to be the launch date, the modification does establish the impression of a postponement.
It’s not hard for PC gamers to deduce, even without consulting the Steam dataset, that something strange has been happening with Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection. Uncharted: The Pack for PC has been followed by God of War, Marvel’s Spider-Man, and more recently Spider-Man: Homecoming for PlayStation 3.
