Instagram’s Latest Beta Release Introduces Bug Fixes for Improved Software Stability

One of the best things about being enrolled in the beta program of Instagram is the fact that you will receive access to all of the app’s latest updates ahead of everyone else. To top it all off, the only thing that Instagram’s developers are requesting of beta users is for them to provide serious feedback in the rare case that they stumble upon a bug or software glitch.

With that being said, we are happy to announce that the beta version of Instagram has just received a new update. Since this is a beta release, this is a maintenance update that we are talking about and it doesn’t come with new or groundbreaking features. Instead of new features, the latest update for Instagram focuses on enhancing the overall software stability of the social media app.

Instagram Beta Update

As previously noted, Instagram has just received a new update. The update sports the beta and it’s being rolled out via the app’s official OTA (over the air) channels. This means that the only thing that Instagram beta users need to do in order to access the new update is to simply keep their smartphones connected to a Wi-Fi network and wait for the update to pop up in their notifications panel.

Improved Software Stability

The latest update for Instagram comes with a handful of “under the hood” software tweaks that have been specially created to improve the overall stability of Instagram. This means that the chances for Instagram to start lagging or to randomly glitch are much lower than usual after installing the new update.

APK Release

Before we sign off, we also want to mention that the new update can be manually downloaded and installed in the form of APK (Android Package Kit). This is a special type of update and it can only be installed on Android-powered smartphones.
