Back in 2017 when Nintendo announced that it wants to launch a new gaming console everyone doubted that it would stand a chance against the likes of Xbox One and PlayStation 4. However, the Japanese based tech giant made sure that Nintendo Switch is successful by also announcing fun games such as Splatoon 2. Nonetheless, the reason why Nintendo Switch is making headlines today is because a demo version of Splatoon 2 has been released.
Splatoon 2 Demo
Splatoon 2 is a highly popular online shooter that has helped build the fanbase of Nintendo Switch. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that Nintendo has decided to create a demo version of the game so that new Nintendo Switch fans can see what the game is like before buying it.
Even though this is just a demo, it still gives players the option to fight in 4-on-4 Turf war battles, League Battle, Ranked Battle and Salmon Run modes. Nintendo Switch fans can join up with their friends in these modes and test out their skills while having a blast at the same time.
Free 7 Day Switch Online Service
Since Splatoon 2 is an online game, Nintendo Switch fans will need to be subscribed to the Switch Online service in order to play the game. Luckily, Nintendo has decided to offer a free 7 days Switch Online service trial to everyone who downloads the demo of Splatoon 2.
The demo is available on the Nintendo eShop right now and everyone can download it in advance because the demo’s servers will go live starting tomorrow.
The servers for the demo version of Splatoon 2 are going live from 7pm GTM / 7am PT tomorrow and they will remain for one week, thus ending on 25th March at the same hour. We should mention that the price for the full version of Splatoon 2 is 20% off in North America and 33% in Europe.
