For the first time ever, Blizzard was booed off the stage during its own event a couple of weeks ago when it revealed Diablo Immortal during Blizzcon. Blizzard has teased Diablo 4 for a couple of years now and instead of giving players a glimpse of what’s to come, Blizzard decided that it was better to announce Diablo Immortal as the highlight of the event. This didn’t sit well with fans of the Diablo franchise because Diablo Immortal is a mobile game developed by a Chinese software company.

Blizzard is Out of Touch with Its Fans

Everyone already knows that Blizzard is out of touch with its fans. The diehard fan base of this company is PC players. Take for example games such as World of Warcraft, Diablo, Starcraft, Overwatch and so on. However, Blizzard forgot all about that when it saw how much profits mobile games are making and decided to switch its focus from PC games to mobile titles.

Warcraft Version of Pokemon Go

Even though no one liked Diablo Immortal, all players started criticizing Blizzard that if the company really wanted to make a successful mobile game, then it should make it about catching the pets from Warcraft similar to how Pokemon Go does with Pokemon.

Well, it looks like Blizzard has actually been listening because Kotaku’s Jason Schreier talked with eleven current Blizzard employees and he found out that Blizzard is actually working on a Warcraft Version of Pokemon.

Warcraft Pets

For those who are unfamiliar with World of Warcraft, this game has more than 1,000 pets and they all have their own unique designs, skill sets and abilities which can be used in combat, similar to Pokemon G.

Therefore, creating a Warcraft version of Pokemon Go is a wise move by Blizzard. Let’s hope that Blizzard keeps working on this project and makes an announcement soon enough to make fans forget about Diablo Immortal.
