Last night Infinity Ward released the much-anticipated trailer for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare remake. We have linked the trailer down below so that everyone can see the amazing graphics Infinity Ward’s next game has to offer. As you can clearly imagine, gaming forums from all over the world have started rumors about the kind of features and services the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will have to offer and luckily, Infinity Ward has decided to announce what we can expect so that we don’t base our expectations on rumors.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

First off, we want to mention that the game is scheduled to launch on October 25th. This means that we still have a couple of more months to wait before we can check out the game ourselves.  The game is going to launch for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

However, this time players don’t need to pick a side in order to be able to team up with their friends because Infinity Ward has confirmed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will support crossplay.

Crossplay Support and No Season Pass

Even though cross-play support should be a standard feature in 2019, it’s still isn’t. Platform developers such as Sony are hesitant to let their player base interact with other platforms and this is making players angry.

Luckily, it seems like Infinity Ward has managed to persuade everyone to support crossplay for the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. This means that people will be able to team up with their friends, even though they might be using a different gaming console or PC.

The last thing that we want to mention is that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is not going to feature the traditional Season Pass as all other FPS games are doing right now. This is a step into the right direction because after all, players are paying a full price for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and they don’t want to pay anything extra in order to access the full content.
