‘Dune: Spice Wars’ is a new 4X real-time strategy game that was developed by Shiro Games and launched back in April for PC users only. The action takes place on a remote, desolate planet known as Arrakis, where things will get pretty messy as long as you try to gain control and dominance with your group.
In a new post via Steam, the developers made the big announcement that the multiplayer update has gone LIVE. You can either help, betray or even destroy your partners as you participate in the war for spice, as the slogan itself of the update sounds!
There’s even a special trailer dedicated to the new multiplayer update for ‘Dune: Spice Wars,’ and you are free to check it out below:
Here’s what part of the description sounds like:
“Today, band together in 2v2 matches or face each other in a free-for-all of up to four players. Take the reins of either the Atreides, Harkonnen, Fremen, or Smugglers. Any open spots can be filled with AI-controlled factions ranging in difficulty from easy to insane, and each game can be tailored to suit your preferences, including map size and sandworm, storm, and Sietch activity. Victory conditions are also up to you!”
You still have two days more to buy the game from Steam at a discounted price of -20%. Therefore, you have the chance to pay only 23.99 euros instead of the usual 29.99 euros.
‘Dune: Spice Wars’ has both Shiro Games and Funcom as the publishers. If you want to play the game in a different language than English, there’s no need to worry! ‘Dune: Spice Wars’ is also available in 8 other supported languages: French, German, Spanish, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Chinese, and Italian.
