Apple announced that it plans to host an event on October 30th and everyone is getting excited about it. The internet is buzzing with rumors and speculations about what devices Apple might be planning to reveal during the event.

Luckily, a brand-new leak revealed that Apple is going to launch a new iPad Pro and that it will run on iOS 12.1. The cool thing about this leak is that it also reveals some new features that are going to be exclusive to the refreshed iPad Pro model.

iOS 12.1 Beta Code Leaks

The new leak comes directly from Apple’s iOS 12.1 Beta and it reveals that a refreshed iPad Pro model is coming on October 30th and that Face ID will work in both landscape and portrait mode. Therefore, we can be sure that the new iPad Pro model will feature an all-screen design as the one shown in the picture featured above.

iPad Pro 2018 with Face ID

“Face ID needs to be in portrait to learn how to recognize you. After Face ID has been set up, it will work in portrait and landscape,” said the line of code in iOS 12.1 Beta that proved iPad Pro 2018 will feature Face ID.

This is great news for Apple fans who are considering buying the new device because it means that the device will not feature any physical buttons or fingerprint scanners and also that they can unlock it in different modes.

October 30th Apple Event

Apple has named the upcoming event “There’s More in the Making” and the Cupertino based tech giant is expected to reveal a bunch of high-end devices. A refreshed iPad Pro will be the first device to step into the spotlight, but rumor has it that Apple is also planning to launch AirPods 2, AirPower and an Enhanced model of MacBook Air.
