Mortal Kombat 11 is a couple of weeks away from launching and NetherRealm, the game’s developer, has decided to start teasing a new character that is going to be introduced in the Mortal Kombat universe. The new character is called Cetrion and she is an Elder God that is connected to Earth the similar way Raiden is connected to lighting and thunder.

Cetrion, the Elder God of Earth

As previously mentioned, Cetrion is an Elder God who is connected to Earth. This means that Cetrion will be able to use her elemental powers in battle such as summoning vines from the grounds which will root the enemies while Cetrion summons rocks to blast them.

To make things even cooler, Cetrion will have an ultimate ability that will make her grow to a massive God size after which she starts raining down energy beams on her enemy.

New Characters in Mortal Kombat 11

We should note that Cetrion is not the first new character that NetherRealm has revealed during this past couple of weeks. The game developer has also announced Geras who will take on the role of being the servant of Kronika.

The amazing thing about Geras is that just like Cetrion, he will have access to elemental abilities with the difference being that Geras can conjure objects made from sand and even manipulate time to his liking!

Mortal Kombat 11 will feature lots of characters including the classics such as Scorpion and Sub-Zero, but that’s not all. NetherRealm has announced that it will launch a bunch of DLC characters for Mortal Kombat 11 in the upcoming future.

Final Words

Nonetheless, Mortal Kombat 11 is scheduled to launch for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on April 23rd. Therefore, we don’t have to wait that long until we can get to play the new characters and see their full list of special skills and fatalities.
