There used to be a time when Lenovo was one of the world’s biggest smartphone manufacturers, but Lenovo’s popularity in the smartphone industry has dwindled over time. Unfortunately for Lenovo, the company didn’t see too much success in the smartphone industry because other companies such as Apple, Google and Samsung are launching so many high-end devices that its almost impossible to compete against them.

Luckily, Lenovo is not one to give up that easily. The reason we are saying this is because a brand-new leak revealed that Lenovo is getting ready to launch a new smartphone called Lenovo Z5. The smartphone’s official press renders have leaked yesterday, but now, the smartphone has been spotted on the AnTuTu benchmarking website.

Lenovo Z5 Leak

The pictures of Lenovo Z5 show us that the smartphone will sport a rather innovative design. Instead of equipping the new smartphone with a display top notch so that the selfie camera doesn’t take up too much space, Lenovo decided to take things to the next level and mount the selfie camera on a slider.

This is a unique feature that is surely going to give Lenovo Z5 an edge when competing against the likes of iPhone XS because the lack of a display top-notch means that Lenovo Z5 offers a larger screen.

AnTuTu Results

As we previously mentioned, Lenovo Z5 has made a surprise appearance on the AnTuTu benchmarking website. The smartphone scored a total of 161,428 points which is quite impressive. The AnTuTu results also revealed that Lenovo Z5 is powered by a Snapdragon 710 processor that is paired with an Adreno 616 graphics processing unit and 6GB of RAM alongside 128GB of internal storage space.

Final Words

From what we can tell, Lenovo Z5 is shaping up to be a great smartphone that will be able to compete against the best. It’s great to see that Lenovo has not given up on the smartphone industry yet because this means that smartphone fans get even more products to choose from.
