Samsung has been rumored to be working on a budget version of its flagship smartphone called Galaxy S10 Lite ever since a new device with the “SM-G770F” model number was leaked. The South Korean based tech giant refused to release any statements that either confirm or deny the existence of the new smartphone. Fortunately, we got lucky and a brand-new leak is showing us that Samsung is in fact working on a Lite version of the flagship smartphone and that it will be released sooner than expected.
The GeekBench Leak
All tech companies that want to launch new smartphones will first test their performances on platforms such as GeekBench. The great thing about GeekBench is that all reports are public and that they reveal important information about the hardware specs that the smartphones have to offer. With that said, Galaxy S10 Lite has just been spotted in a GeekBench report.
Snapdragon 855 CPU and 8GB RAM
The leak is highlighting the fact that Galaxy S10 Lite is going to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 CPU. This is the second-best CPU available for smartphones in 2019 and this shows us that despite being a budget smartphone, Galaxy S10 Lite will still deliver powerful performances. In addition, Samsung has bundled the Snapdragon 855 CPU with the whopping amount of 8GB of RAM.
Highlight Specs
The folks at SamMobile are reporting that Galaxy S10 Lite will ship with a 6.7-inches display that uses Full HD+ technology. Not just that, but Galaxy S10 Lite is also going to be equipped with a triple camera setup comprised of a 48MP main sensor and 32MP selfie camera. In addition, Galaxy S10 Lite will be able to last for days on end thanks to the highly optimized 4,5000 mAh battery.
