Vivo announced earlier this year that it has started a new subsidiary company that will focus on creating powerful smartphones. The subsidiary company launched a gaming smartphone called iQOO which was a success and now, it looks like Vivo’s subsidiary is getting ready to launch its second smartphone called iQOO NEO. Even though Vivo has yet to officially reveal or even confirm the new smartphone, we got lucky and it has been spotted on the online benchmarking platform known as ‘GeekBench’.
Before we present how well iQOO NEO performed on GeekBench, we need to mention that all smartphones which get spotted here are usually launched during the upcoming days. Therefore, we shouldn’t be surprised to see that Vivo officially announces iQOO NEO and its launch date over the weakened. Now, let’s check out if iQOO NEO managed to pass the performance tests on GeekBench.
According to the GeekBench listing, iQOO NEO is equipped with a Snapdragon 845 CPU. This is a powerful octa-core processor which clocks at a base speed of 1.77GHz. to make things even better, the processor of iQOO NEO is also paired with 6GB RAM. This is why iQOO NEO managed to crush the multi-core performance tests on GeekBench by scoring 8,041 points and also 2,321 points in the single-core test.
Triple Camera Setup
The last thing that we want to mention about iQOO NEO is that even though Vivo is renowned for creating affordable entry-level smartphones, it doesn’t look like this is going to be the case for iQOO NEO. The new smartphone will ship with a full-screen OLED display and an outstanding triple camera-setup that is mounted on the rear side. From what we can tell, iQOO NEO is shaping up to be a great smartphone and a great successor to the original iQOO.
