Blizzard Reveals Diablo Immortal for Smartphones (Video Trailer)

BlizzCon started today and one of the first things that Blizzard announced is that a new Diablo game is coming. Unfortunately, this is not the sequel that everyone was waiting for since it’s a mobile version of Diablo called Immortal. The upcoming game will introduce new stories that players will get to enjoy and they will feature popular and iconic Diablo characters such as Deckard Cain, Tyrael, and many others.

Diablo Immortal

If you ever dreamed about how fun it would be to play Diablo on your smartphone, then you should be happy to know that this is exactly what Diablo Immortal offers. Blizzard didn’t say too much about the mobile game’s launch date other than that it’s “coming soon” which leads us to believe that Diablo Immortal will arrive in early 2019.

The Game Looks Amazing

Even though Diablo Immortal is not Diablo 4, we have to admit that the game still looks amazing. Furthermore, Diablo Immortal gives players a chance to experience new stories that they are going to love and this is all that matters.

As expected, Diablo Immortal will feature a UI (user interface) that is equipped with touch controls that will make it easier for players to control their characters.

When is Diablo 4 Coming?

The announcement of Diablo Immortal doesn’t mean that Diablo 4 is not coming. The game is still in development and Blizzard announced that it’s taking its time with it. Blizzard knows that there is no room for error when it comes to this big franchise and it made the following statement on its blog:

“These are very exciting times – we currently have multiple teams working on different Diablo projects and we can’t wait to tell you all about them…when the time is right. We know that many of you are hoping for and we can only say that ‘good things come to those who wait’, but evil things often take longer. We appreciate your patience as our teams work tirelessly to create nightmarish experiences worthy of the Lord of Terror” said Blizzard regarding Diablo 4.
